Product launch pages are interesting because you are asking people to get excited about something they cannot buy yet. The psychology is different from a regular sales page. You are not overcoming objections about price or features. You are creating curiosity and making people feel like they are getting early access to something special.
The simplest version: a headline that describes what is coming, a signup form for the waitlist, and maybe a hint at the launch date. The more interesting version: a progress indicator showing how many people have already signed up, a referral mechanism where sharing gets you higher on the waitlist, and gradual reveals of features or screenshots as the launch date approaches.
